“Stand Firm”

“Stand Firm”

“After you’ve done all you can do, you just stand, the inspiring song by Pastor Donnie McClurkin rings in my spirit!

The Book of Ephesians is by far the most encouraging book the Bible for me. As I look at the sixth chapter, beginning at verse 11 and pausing at verse 14, I kept hearing “Stand Firm”.

“Stand Firm”, verse 14 Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,

11 Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. The fiery darts, and the trials keep coming, I hear the Holy Spirit saying, “Stand Firm.”

I was meditating, and a post from October 2015 by Dr. Yvonne Capehart came back to my mind, “You are not ready for your destiny until you can sit at the table with Judas and your friends and treat them both the same”. Don’t move Judas’ seat!!! I didn’t move his seat I kept allowing him to sit at the table with me. I am a witness that He has allowed me to sit with both, and I have passed the tests.

The anointing costs, it doesn’t come free! Are you willing to pay the cost?

When you fast and pray asking the Lord to reveal something to you, you’d better be ready for it when He answers your prayers. I asked Him to reveal something to me and he did it! I took Him at His word, he said in His Word that I could come boldly to the throne and that’s what I did!

12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

13 Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].

14 Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God
